Adults refer to animals or humans which have attained their maximum developmental stage. Within the human realm, adult is a reference to social and legal concepts. An adult who is legally mature is, as opposed to "minors" or "non-adults, is someone who is of the majority age and thus considered to be independent, responsible as well as independent. The word "major" may be used to describe the person. There is a general belief that the threshold at which an individual legally matures is 18. But, it can vary depending on legal rights and country and also on the psychological state.

Adulthood is the time in human life when the person is at maturity in terms of both physical and mental development. The typical age for adulthood is age 21 or 20. The middle age begins at approximately 40 and then it is followed by an older age of around 60. The three phases of adulthood are early adulthood (from mid-30s to late-60s), middle adulthood from the mid-30s through late-60s, and finally adulthood, (mid-60s until the time of death). When we reach the early stage of adulthood (between 20-40) then our bodies have reached their full maturity even though our weight and height might increase a bit. When we are young the physical capabilities of our bodies are at their best which includes muscle strength, reaction time sensors, as well as the functioning of our heart.
