Anna Silk

Anna Silk, born January 31st 1974, in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada is an actress famous for her character Bo on The Showcase Series Lost Girl. Silk is a character from Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk's parents are Peter who was an academic as well as Peter Silk who was an actor, director and producer. He also wrote plays, was an teacher, and director of Drama, St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Some of Anna's early memories include going to play rehearsals and watching her mother at work. Silk featured in a number of commercials while she was young. She received her degree from St. Thomas University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1997. Theater work in her early years included at minimum two productions for Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk moved to Toronto in Canada, which was the beginning of the month of November 1999. After that, she relocated to Los Angeles California during the period of the following decade. Seth Cooperman met Silk at an Los Angeles Actors Workshop in 2007. In 2009, they were legally married in December of 2009. Following her conversion to Judaism the couple renew their vows in a Jewish ceremony on 10 April 2011 in Fredericton. Silk welcomed an infant son Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. Levi Aaron, her second son was born on May 13, 2016. Silk is known for her TV role in the role of Cassidy Holland, in Being Erica. In 2009, she received nominations from Gemini Awards. Gemini Awards. She landed the role of Bo Dennis, a succubus in the Canadian television show Lost Girl in 2009. Silk was expecting while filming the final episode of the third season. Silk announced her pregnancy to fans during her Showcase Season Three pre-show special of January 6, 2013. Silk announced on Twitter June 20th that the show had returned to production. Season Four premiered in June of 2013 through Showcase and Prodigy Pictures. CNN recognized Bo's character with Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most popular TV couples ever. E! Magazine also classified it as the top TV couple of 2013. Entertainment Television. As a result of the popularity of the show, Silk has earned a significant internet following via social media.
